Try this TKM technique next time you have the hiccups:
Locate the mid-point of your two lowest ribs; the lowest left rib and the lowest right rib. Place the finger pads of your index, middle, and ring fingers on the mid-point barely below those two ribs. You can either place right hand to right rib and left hand to left rib or you can cross your arms to do so. Either way, once you place your hands at the appropriate place just touch those locations gently. No rubbing, no massage, no pressing; just touch.
