Hi, Tony McWilliams here. What might those who are finding themselves subject to chemotherapy considering as they attempt self-care? I’ll put a thought on the table for consideration. So, this is yet another deposit to take Acemannan out of best-kept-secret status. With a short focus on chemotherapy patients who might want to know more. We will look at a study, a randomized controlled trial, that was done in 2009. Of course, a randomized controlled study (if you’re familiar with that terminology) is the gold standard for studies done by the medical and science community. And, once again, this one focuses on Acemannan. This is the nutritional technology of choice that MannaRelief uses to send to the most medically compromised children globally. Our subject today includes people who find themselves under the treatment and the duress of chemotherapy. They are in a most undesirable situation. Here is something they might want to investigate further.

So, let me put up the slides and take a look at this clinical study. First, here is the link that will take you to the study itself for your own perusal. And this is a screenshot of the study itself. It is entitled: “A randomized study of chemotherapy verses bio-chemotherapy with chemotherapy plus Aloe arborescens in patients with metastatic cancer.”

Let’s make clear the definitions here: There is chemotherapy and then there is bio-chemotherapy. In this particular study, they are going to combine chemotherapy with aloe and they specifically mention acemannan in the study, that part of the aloe plant, that has immunostimulating activity. If you heard me before you know that the reality of immune stimulation, regulation, and modulation is mentioned often, and there are multiplied studies that confirm this fact. The other two mechanisms they recognize in this study in their use of aloe is its antiproliferative and its antioxidant effects. The term arborescens means “becoming a tree” and it is just a botanical term to help further describe the botanical identity of the aloe plant. And then notice that the cancers these patients are dealing with are metastatic. So these are patients with very serious cancer concerns.

As we get into this study and take a look at the graphs which represent the results of the study, we need to take note that these graphs reflect the “Mean number of lymphocytes observed before and after the chemotherapeutic treatment in 240 patients with metastatic solid tumor treated with chemotherapy alone or chemotherapy plus aloe”

One more definition is needed here: lymphocytes. A low number of lymphocytes means the immune system has been affected negatively by the chemotherapy. A low lymphocyte count means the body is not able to fight off infection and the susceptibility to cancer is increased. But a higher number of lymphocytes means a more robust immune system that can contribute to fighting off infection and abnormal cells.

Let’s look at the graph.

On the left here in the circle are patients who received chemotherapy only. The white bar represents their lymphocytes before the chemotherapy and the shaded bar represents lymphocytes after the chemotherapy. What we see here is what we would expect. It is not new news to any of us that chemotherapy is very invasive and very toxic and though the goal is to address the cancer what it also ends up doing is negatively affecting various cells and systems in the body. Not the least of which is the lymphocytes and the overall immune system.

But then we take a look at the next set of patients. They were given the chemotherapy and they were also given aloe and the acemannan in the aloe. The white bar represents lymphocytes before the bio-chemotherapy with acemannan and the shaded bar represents the lymphocytes after the bio-chemotherapy. In this case, these patients had a higher lymphocyte reading after the chemotherapy than before.

The results of the study quoted directly from the clinical study are “The percentage of both objective tumor regressions and disease control was significantly higher in patients concomitantly treated with Aloe than with chemotherapy alone, as well as the percent of 3-year survival patients.”

“This study seems to suggest that Aloe may be successfully associated with chemotherapy to increase its efficacy in terms of both tumor regression rate and survival time.

As I hope to make my realm of influence more aware of this information about Acemannan I also ask that you take a look by clicking the link that I have placed in the comment section below. And always remember, our proprietary product line, with acemannan at the core is how we are making our impact on the market, and then we implement the Buy One Nourish One social business model to share our nutrition with those around the world who need it the most.

I hope you will always be careful to maintain good works to meet urgent needs and become heroes to your generation.
