I have spent the last several years as a teacher and find my greatest rewards tackling areas where understanding is dim and hope diminished. I look to encourage understanding in those who genuinely want to grow and who want to find a successful life through Biblical wisdom. I have also had reason to give myself to business administration, human resources, and television, radio, and podcast production.

I originate from Illinois, where at the age of seventeen I gave my life to the Lord Jesus and began involvement in leadership roles among young people during a renewal movement in my hometown.

As a young adult, I traveled for three years to sixty-five college campuses around the nation serving to develop my sales prowess and use these opportunities to deliver gospel appeals. During this time I met and married my wife, Gail. We spent the first months and years as itinerant presenters. I then pastored two different churches for the next thirteen years. This included the founding of a private Christian school and hosting a TV program called ‘Sing and Declare.’ Through the years I have written and published a book, helped my wife and children produce six musical recording projects, and traveled the nation to churches and to be interviewed on TV and radio.

In the year 2000 I moved to Dallas, Texas to work with Christ For The Nations Institute, an international ministry and Bible school. I worked there as an administrator, human resources manager, and class instructor. I teach on leadership issues, ministry priorities and character development. I co-taught a class on “Marriage and Family” with my wife for three years and am preparing to write on this very subject.

I wrote and published a book, So Shall My Word Be: Living by the Faith Revealed in Nature’s Amazing Model. I helped my wife, Gail, publish five books she authored entitled Seeing Beyond: Choosing to Look Past the Horizon with foreword by Zig Ziglar; Engaging the Heart: Valuing the Treasure WithinB12: Doses of Encouragement; Stuck or Positioned? It’s Your Choice; and Hope Sees: Beyond Obstacles, Challenges and Disappointments. Book releases have included translation into Spanish as well. I also provide administrative support for Gail’s radio program, which aired on 200 radio stations around the country.

I married Gail Moyers over three decades ago and we have five children, which the doctors said we would never have. We have used our story to encourage others with a message of hope and faith because of what we have seen God do in our household. Three older daughters Anna, Lindey, ad Holly, are involved heavily in their own life and ministry assignments. After a nine-year break, we had another daughter, Lydia, and then a son, Connor. I have to tell people that all my children are with the same wife and that we had to have reasons to stay young.

I spend my time doing many of the things mentioned above and traveling the nation, and sometimes the world, where I get opportunities to speak in various venues. I am especially interested in the success of Women’s Resource Centers, Homes for Unwed Mothers, Orphanages and Feeding of Malnourished Children.

I also serve the social and economic interests of a team of social entrepreneurs under the team name HopeQuestGlobal to deliver measurable, record-breaking damage to the number one social problem in the world – childhood malnutrition. I love the genius and the goodness of social enterprise.

My wife, Gail, went home to be with the Lord Christmas Eve 2016. She served the purposes of God in her generation and then went to sleep. Her memorial service can be viewed at GailMcWilliams.com/memorial.

I enjoy two grandsons and five granddaughters. Our family resides in the Dallas, Texas metroplex.
