I was twenty-one years old when I started to see some insights relative to Isaiah 55 and which themes my book, So Shall My Word Be: Living by the Faith Revealed in Nature’s Amazing Model. I was already learning how to live by faith at that young age and spent many a late-night taking notes from audio cassette tapes of Bible teachers. I took extensively written summaries doing a great deal of pressing the rewind and play buttons.

When I first saw the initial insight, it was enough to interest me, but what became an obvious requirement was some more digging—some extensive research—to back up the insight. Most of the time life’s insights and wisdoms do not lie on top of the ground anyway, they are buried like gold at deeper levels. Some additional effort would be essential to tap the treasure of which I had only found traces. That effort went on for another 35 years until the book was published.

And as is the case with Biblical insights, fresh light is always expanding the multi-faceted wisdoms contained therein. So ever since the book’s publication I have been encouraged over and again with this idea of walking by faith and how there is an amazing model in creation that encourages this exciting lifestyle.

I don’t sell the book any longer as it is out of print. Instead, I am making it available in blog post form. It is under the category of So Shall My Word Be. The first blog post from the book can be accessed at Blog #17 by clicking here.
